Applied behavior analysis, commonly referred to as ABA, serves as the foundation of our programming. The science of ABA enables us to use evidence-based guidance regarding how we approach each individual challenge.
Parents, caregivers, educators and social service agencies are encouraged to participate in the wide variety of consulting, educational and training opportunities we provide for the purpose of helping members of challenged families reclaim peace and appreciation of each other. In addition to individual programs, several public training series are offered throughout the year. We have a special calling regarding ADHD, mood disorders, autism and issues related to adoption, particularly international.
Services & Programs
Individual Behavioral Therapy and In-home/School Consultation
Our consultants provide a variety of services to families and program teams to facilitate individual intervention programs. Our consultants provide the framework and training to implement our strategies and techniques along with the necessary program and behavior analysis to move the program forward appropriately. This includes ongoing training and support to the parents and others working with the child, continuous analysis and program development, and monitoring of the implemented strategies. An effective program will have continual change and growth; therefore, our ongoing consultative services remain flexible to accommodate the necessary elements of individual intervention programs.
Facing an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) but not sure what support is best for your loved one? Behavior NetWorks can offer suggestions based on your specific needs, conduct classroom observations and will even attend the conference as your child’s advocate, if you'd like.
Functional Behavior & Task Analysis
Modification of behaviors is most effective if the motivation behind the behaviors can be determined, because, once that motivation is known - once the need that a person is trying to fill is ascertained - a replacement behavior can be taught to meet that need more effectively and appropriately. Functional behavior and task analysis enable scientific method to be used to examine behavior to achieve measurable results. No more guess work. We prove improvements.
Family Training, Support & Research
When working with individuals with behavior challenges, there are a number of possible interventions, but some are easier to implement than others. We provide training from the most basic to the most complex interventions dependent upon the needs of each individual family. This includes integrating dietary interventions, home designs for the sensory challenged and other environmental modifications, crisis intervention and long-term life planning designs.
Training Workshops
Seminars to enlighten teachers, professionals and parents with practical information. Topics vary from “Understanding Autism” to “Behavior Management” to “Developing Meaningful Friendships.”
Distance Consultation
Recognizing that there are a growing number of individuals who live in less populated areas who could benefit from behavioral intervention, we're equipped to provide primarily distance consulting. After an initial in-person consultation at the client's home, a program is designed that will make it possible for remote supervision and consultations using a combination of technology.
